Sustainable Stormwater Management for Lakeport Dental
Collaborating closely with Lakeport Dental, our project aimed to expand their existing facility by adding an additional office and a larger parking lot. We needed to devise a stormwater management solution that addressed the challenges posed by the increased parking area while ensuring the integrity of the localized storm sewer infrastructure.
The larger parking area had the potential to place undue strain on the existing localized storm sewer infrastructure. The challenge was to prevent the overburdening of the storm sewer system while accommodating the desired expansion.
In partnership with Hallex and installation expert Cotton Inc., we recommended the Cultec 360HD Storm Chamber system, which proved to be the ideal solution. The system provided a total storage volume of 19m³, which allowed for the gradual dissipation of collected runoff back into the local pipe infrastructure at a controlled rate. The gradual release of collected runoff back into the local pipe infrastructure then actively prevents overloading and minimized the potential for localized flooding.
Cotton Inc. executed the installation of the Cultec 360HD Storm Chamber system with precision and expertise, ensuring that the stormwater management solution functioned as intended. Ultimately allowing Lakeport Dental to expand its facility while maintaining a sustainable approach to stormwater management.
