Devron Sales Ltd. worked closely with Centennial Construction to support the expansion of the McLeod Condos, a three-building condominium project in the heart of Niagara. With urban growth on the rise, this development needed more than just residential space—it required a reliable and innovative stormwater management system.
The Stormwater Challenge
The project introduced a large hardscape surface area, including new parking and access routes. As a result, rainwater could no longer soak into the ground, which caused a surge in stormwater runoff. During storms, this increased flow risked overwhelming the local stormwater infrastructure.
To solve this, Devron needed to install a solution that would not only manage the volume of runoff but also fit into the design of the site without sacrificing parking or accessibility.
Our GreenStorm Solution
We implemented the GreenStorm modular stormwater management system beneath the parking lot. This below-ground tank stores stormwater during rainfall and releases it slowly over time, reducing pressure on the city’s storm drains. Thanks to its modular design, GreenStorm also allowed us to customize the layout to suit the specific site needs.
This approach ensured that the McLeod Condos remained fully functional and environmentally responsible—without losing valuable surface space.
